Come and hear about the  work our region’s universities are doing to form an innovation partnership for Hampshire and Solent, aimed at unlocking growth in the local innovative business community. Also hear about the UK’s first open-access Large Structures Innovation Centre (LSIC), located on the Isle of Wight and operated by NCC. Initially focused on wind energy, LSIC will also drive innovation in maritime and infrastructure, tackling the challenges of next generation large structures.

 

Overview

Innovation Wight, NCC and University of Southampton have come together to host an innovation briefing, to include presentations and discussion about working with Hampshire universities on innovation and industrial projects in advanced materials.

Join us for an innovation briefing and networking at Building 41, Cowes, to find out about the £20m regional funding for industrial projects supporting advanced materials and how you can collaborate with LSIC.

Travel: Details of how to get to Building 41 can be found here. If travelling from the mainland, we recommend travelling by Red Jet on the 10:20 and returning on the 14:25. A return transfer from the Red Jet terminal to Building 41 will be available to meet those times and can be booked on the registration form.
