Background
This year’s initiative builds upon the foundations laid in February 2023, thanks to the dedication and support of many remarkable contributors. The original event was hosted at the Liz Earle base in Ryde, and we extend our sincere gratitude to Helen Farrant and Helen Curel for their invaluable efforts in making it a success.
Programme Vision
The Inclusive Island programme is designed to foster a supportive environment, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow and succeed. Our commitment centres on celebrating diversity, equality, inclusion and belonging. We strive to provide equal access for all and ensure that individuals—regardless of background, ability or experience—are supported in their personal and professional journeys.
Opportunities and Activities
Participants will benefit from a diverse range of tailored workshops, mentoring opportunities, and collaborative activities. Our aim is to cultivate a culture that values inclusion and encourages innovation. We encourage everyone to get involved, share their perspectives, and contribute to building a workplace where every voice is heard and every contribution is respected.
Get Involved
We invite you to join us as we embark on this journey to empower every voice and enable every talent. Details about how to participate and information on upcoming events will be shared soon. Let’s work together to make inclusivity the cornerstone of our collective success.
Programme Links and Funding
We are proud to announce that the Inclusive Island programme is now linked with the Connect to Work Programme, further enhancing our network and opportunities for growth.
We are also thrilled to confirm that we have secured five years of funding for the programme. This opens up exciting opportunities to collaborate with organisations such as the Isle of Wight Council, Isle of Wight Youth Trust, Osel, and Palladium.
